YOU’RE SITTING ON A GOLDMINE
Like a dwarf in the depths. :)
One of my friends once said, “Where are you leaving money on the table?”
That really resonated with me, because I believe we are all leaving a solid 90% of our money in the ether.
Now, on the other hand, sometimes we DO want to leave money on the table. Especially if that money doesn't feel aligned, or fun, or dredges up some brand of ick in our soul, or will interfere with our ability to live the life we want. That said, we are people who are rooted in contribution and the good of humanity and are also in tune enough with our bodies and souls and lives that this isn’t a huge issue. But I wanted to offer that side note before going deeper into this. So if the thought of dredging up your goldmine makes you want to crawl into bed and take a giant nap, please feel free to return to this later. Or never. :)
About 90% of the game is cleaning up our internal experience to help money to come in ways that feel good, ways that feel fun. Cleaning up our energy and our thought processes and our feelings around money by shining a flashlight on the shadows, letting ourselves feel into the discomfort and stickiness without making it mean anything about us or our worth. Being in the truth of Life, Money and the Universe Wants To Support Me In All Ways, So What Sounds Fun Right Now. Journaling and tapping on and dissolving anything around questions like, “Where am I closing myself off from money?" "What shadows or old patterns or beliefs are kinking up the flow of my abundance?" "Where do I feel shame around money or my experience?" Talk about a gold mine.
The other 10% of the game is more practical. As in, where can you leverage what you have or create systems or structures to allow it to expand? What’s been hiding in plain sight that just needs a bit of time and effort to unearth?
As I sat with this question - and my desire to receive plenty of money, even in the midst of life things like burnout and birthdays and needing to nourish myself massively - the answer began to appear.
Honestly, the answer took about a year for me. The answer to "Yo, universe, where's my goldmine? Amber said I have one" may come immediately for you, or it may filter through later. Or maybe the answer comes right now and the execution ends up being a slow burn. This is where we tap into deep trust and lean back into our souls, knowing that it’s all happening perfectly and in the right timing.
My personal goldmine was hundreds of hours of content that I’d created in the first four years of my business that had only gone to a few people. Not because it’s not good, not because it isn’t deeply transformative, but because in the creation portion of my business I didn’t have the bandwidth to create the foundations and structures necessary to get my stuff out into the wider world. It just didn’t sound fun at the time. I had some beliefs that everything I created always had to be new. Now is the time for me to dismantle my limiting beliefs and create those structures. That’s what sounds fun right now. I’ve allowed myself to recognize that the power in past work grows over time, rather than lessens. I’ve given myself permission to let go of pieces that don’t feel good, add where necessary, and trust that what I’ve already created is meant to be seen and absorbed by many, many more people. This was my goldmine.
My partner’s goldmine was a house full of stuff that he’d collected, but didn’t want any more and, frankly, was making the house stressful for everyone. Spare parts cluttering his garage that people snap up on eBay. Furniture inherited from his grandmother that needs a new home. Radio control cars from his youth that middle age men apparently really want right now, as they recapture their own youth. Rodent ghosts haunting the side door where the cats leave their kills. (We probably can’t sell those on eBay, but you never know.)
Your goldmine is here and waiting for you, both in your physical reality and your spiritual reality. It may require you to go in and do some mining, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. But it’s well worth diving in, because your etheric bank account is BANGING and it’s time to start cashing those checks.
Lots of love,
